New Balance continues the return of the 1000, an archival running style originally released in 1999, with this new "Dragon Berry" colorway. A comprehensive homage to all things Y2K, the 1000’s innovative streamlined design features a performance-inspired honeycomb mesh upper in white mesh overlaid with swooping red leather panels, for a tech-inspired look that is equal parts sleek and rugged. White mesh accents hit the heel and tongue while a grey jewel-like 'N' logo on the sides, silver embroidery on the tongue tag, heel and 1000 on the front quarter handle the branding. The sculpted grey midsole features ABZORB cushioning in the heel and forefoot, with a Stability Web midfoot shank and black rubber outsole.
